An 8.5 IELTS score is an almost perfect result, achieved by very few people in Vietnam. For a high school student, reaching this milestone is even more challenging. Yet, with his own knowledge combined with 6 months of intensive training at WISE English and the NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) method, a 17-year-old student from Phan Chau Trinh High School successfully conquered this impressive score.
Cong Tien also shared his advice for those who are on the journey to conquering IELTS: “Be truly confident in your own abilities. One of the factors that helped me achieve that high band score was practicing self-confidence. If you feel that you have reached your full potential, it’s because you already possess the core skills and knowledge to complete the test. All you need to do now is stop worrying and allow yourself some time to rest and relax before the exam. Look at it as just any other exam you have taken. Many people feel anxious because the IELTS exam is quite expensive, but I believe that if you keep a calm mindset and treat it like a normal test, you will perform much better.”
The story began 7 years ago when Quang was among the top students who ABSOLUTELY HATED ENGLISH. However, everything changed when he joined WISE English.
