Children’s English

• At WISE English, children are provided with free online or in-person learning support at any time.
• The teachers at WISE English are always available to assist children whenever needed. Especially during the English KIDS program, if children encounter any difficulties, parents can receive guidance through the WISE English Fanpage and the class Group.
• Children also have the opportunity to join English exchange groups, allowing both children and parents to stay updated with new knowledge.
• This fosters enthusiasm, a spirit of learning, and language development.
• Students also have the chance to participate in the English Club and various extracurricular programs, which are both beneficial and fun.
• These activities are scheduled by the center, providing an opportunity to experience a proactive, enthusiastic, and joyful learning environment for children.
• Duration: 5 courses.

Entry Level: Beginners or students with elementary-level English proficiency.

The FLYERS English course is designed for children:

• Aged 5-11 years old (elementary school level)
• Who do not have a solid foundation in English
• Who have weak grammar skills or have not yet been exposed to English grammar
• Who do not know how to pronounce words correctly, or still make frequent basic pronunciation errors
• Who have difficulty listening, don’t know how to listen to English effectively, or have not been exposed to English listening comprehension
• Who have not been introduced to international-standard English test formats
• Who want to begin familiarizing themselves with and improving their foreign language skills
• Who aim to achieve international English certifications, such as Starters, Movers, Flyers, A2, or KET.

The Flyers course is designed as a transitional step for children who already have a certain level of English after reaching a level equivalent to Movers. In this course, children are provided with the most essential knowledge, closely following the Flyers exam format through listening comprehension, reading comprehension of dialogues and texts with more advanced grammar structures, and further developing their logical thinking and reasoning skills.

All students are guaranteed to have the necessary skills to achieve an international certification equivalent to A2/FLYERS.

The Starters, Movers, Flyers English curriculum for children is part of the renowned *Everybody Up* series published by Oxford University Press.

*Everybody Up* is a series with 7 levels (Everybody Up Starter, Everybody Up 1-2-3-4-5-6) published by Oxford University Press.

The Starter level is for children who are just beginning to learn English. Level 6 is the final level, where children can use English fluently for communication, with a wide range of vocabulary and knowledge not only in English but also through subjects like math and science. At this level, children will have enough knowledge to complete the international Cambridge certification exams, including Starters, Movers, and Flyers.

In the early stages of learning English, the *Everybody Up* curriculum mainly focuses on building vocabulary and the child’s reflexive communication skills through simple, familiar words and sentence structures. It includes listening and speaking exercises to ensure that children can respond effectively to a new language, gradually turning it into a familiar one. Children are introduced to grammar and reading-writing skills in a completely natural way.

As children progress to higher levels, where they have gained a solid language foundation, the lessons of *Everybody Up* will delve deeper into developing independent and creative thinking skills. It will also enhance all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing at an advanced level.

The topics are engaging and fun, with the opening song—Theme song—*Everybody Up* being lively and energetic. The curriculum is compatible with the Ministry of Education’s program, making it suitable for review and supplementary learning alongside school lessons, helping children stay on track when learning two programs in parallel.

In addition, the center also teaches using the *Fun for Starters/Movers/Flyers* curriculum from Cambridge University. Cambridge University is extremely well-known, as it is the institution behind the Starters/Movers/Flyers exams and IELTS. This curriculum not only helps children review grammar rules more deeply and improve reflexive skills, complementing the *Everybody Up* curriculum, but also helps them prepare effectively for the Starters/Movers/Flyers certification exams.

Flyers (corresponding to the A2 level of the CEFR) is designed for children aged 11-12 who have studied approximately 250 hours of English.

This program helps children handle basic everyday speaking and writing situations in English. Upon achieving the Cambridge Flyers certification, children will be able to communicate effectively in familiar situations, interact with English speakers who speak slowly and clearly, understand short announcements and spoken instructions, and write basic sentences.
