The Danang WISE English Olympic 2023 is highly regarded for its scale and quality, especially for the enthusiastic participation of Da Nang’s youth, offering a variety of engaging activities.
On the afternoon of February 24, 2023, the Da Nang Youth Union, in collaboration with the WISE English Language Center system, launched the “Danang City English Olympic – Danang WISE English Olympic” for the 2022–2023 academic year.
Accordingly, the Danang City English Olympic – Danang WISE English Olympic competition officially began in March 2023 and is open to high school students, university and college students, as well as youth union members from high schools, continuing education centers, vocational schools, colleges, and universities across Da Nang. The competition spans over three months.
Significance of the Competition
The importance of this event was emphasized in a speech by Mr. Le Cong Hung, Vice President of the Central Vietnam Student Association, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Youth Union, and President of the Da Nang Student Association:
“This competition is an annual platform with high academic quality, tailored to the needs of young people and providing an ideal environment for them to enhance their English proficiency. It also aligns with the 2023 work program of the Youth Union and youth movements. Furthermore, the competition raises awareness, strengthens the commitment to learning English, and promotes an English-learning movement among Da Nang’s youth.”
