On February 24, the Da Nang Youth Union and the Da Nang Student Association, in collaboration with the WISE English Language Center system, launched the “Danang City English Olympic – Danang WISE English Olympic” for the 2022–2023 academic year. The competition runs for three months, from February 24 to May 28, 2023.
Participants and Competition Format
The competition is open to youth union members, students, and young people across Da Nang. Contestants are divided into two categories:
Category A: For high school students, continuing education centers, and vocational schools.
Category B: For college and university students.
The competition features both online and offline formats, consisting of three rounds for each category. Contestants will be assessed on all four English skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Mr. Le Cong Hung, President of the Da Nang Student Association, emphasized that the Da Nang Youth Union and Student Association have collaborated with specialized organizations to establish an annual English competition of high academic quality, tailored to the needs of young people.
“This competition serves as an excellent platform for young people in Da Nang to practice and enhance their English proficiency. It also raises awareness, fosters determination in English learning, and promotes the city’s English-learning movement.”
