Many people spend their youth studying IELTS. They go through one book after another, studying day and night, but still make no progress. Minh Hanh came to WISE with that concern. Although she had studied hard for the past two years, Minh Hanh was surprised that her IELTS test score still did not improve.
I. The Story of a Girl Who Studied IELTS for 2 Years but Made No Progress
Minh Hanh is a student at Phan Chau Trinh High School. She has the dream of obtaining an IELTS certificate to pursue her future study abroad aspirations. Therefore, Hanh worked hard to prepare for IELTS for two consecutive years, a sufficient time for this excellent student to earn her IELTS certification.
However, reality was far different from the theory. Not only did her practice test scores not meet her goals, but Hanh also began to doubt her learning abilities. She believed that it was due to her lack of effort that her results were so poor. Is this the main reason?
II. Minh Hanh’s Journey to Achieve an IELTS Band Score of 7.0
Although Hanh had practiced IELTS exam questions for two years, she struggled with the Writing section simply because she didn’t know how to structure her ideas effectively. Additionally, in Speaking, even though she had something to say, her sentences lacked coherence and were somewhat disjointed.
Thanks to a friend who randomly introduced WISE English to Hanh, WISE could accompany her on her journey to conquer IELTS.

After that, she also sought out and solved additional practice tests, asked teachers to review her writing, and recorded videos for Speaking to practice her speaking and pronunciation. Ultimately, high achievements came to her:

- Listening: 7.5
- Reading: 7.0
- Writing: 6.5
Overall: 7.0
