Now, when it comes to difficulties, I believe that learning three distinct writing systems—Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji—would be extremely challenging. Kanji, especially, involves memorizing thousands of characters, which seems overwhelming at first. Also, the honorific speech levels in Japanese can be tricky to master because they require you to adjust your grammar and vocabulary depending on the person you’re speaking to.
On the other hand, I think pronunciation would be relatively easy. Japanese has a fairly limited number of sounds compared to English, and most of them are consistent. Additionally, the sentence structure is quite logical, and once you understand the basic grammar patterns, you can build sentences effectively.
The main reason I’d like to learn Japanese is because I’m deeply passionate about Japanese culture and technology.
